By accessing or using RetroResume ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying customers.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

RetroResume is an AI-powered resume builder that allows users to create, edit, and export professional resumes. The Service includes:

• ▶ AI-powered content generation (for paid users)
• ▶ LinkedIn profile import
• ▶ PDF export (for paid users)
• ▶ Multiple resume templates

3. USER ACCOUNTS

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• ▶ Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• ▶ Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• ▶ Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• ▶ Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. PAYMENT TERMS

RetroResume offers a one-time lifetime access payment of $29 USD. By completing a purchase:

• ▶ You receive permanent access to all paid features
• ▶ Payment is processed securely through Paddle
• ▶ All prices are in USD and inclusive of applicable taxes
• ▶ Lifetime access means the duration of the Service's operation

5. AI-GENERATED CONTENT

Our Service uses artificial intelligence to help generate resume content. You acknowledge that:

• ▶ AI-generated content is provided as suggestions only
• ▶ You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content
• ▶ We do not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated content
• ▶ AI generation credits are non-refundable once used
• ▶ Each AI generation consumes one credit from your 10-credit allowance

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service, including your resume data. By using the Service, you grant RetroResume a limited license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by RetroResume and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service without our express written permission.

7. PROHIBITED USES

You agree not to use the Service to:

• ▶ Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• ▶ Infringe upon the rights of others
• ▶ Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the Service
• ▶ Scrape or harvest data from the Service without permission
• ▶ Use the Service for any unlawful or harmful purpose

8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RETRORESUME SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

10. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

• ▶ You may lose access to your resume data
• ▶ Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy

11. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or a notice in the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.
